I am a Lecturer at the Delft University of Technology, where I teach history and humanistic thought to industrial design students. I grew up in Colorado and attended Wesleyan University and Brown University, where I got my PhD in American Studies with an MA in Public Humanities. I have been a visiting fellow at the Smithsonian Institution’s Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation and the Stanford Arts Institute. I also love museums and cultural institutions, and have worked at the American Museum of Natural History and Thinc Design, where I worked on exhibitions for the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. I live in the Hague with my family.
